Remove recent document from start menu

To remove the recent document from the start menu u need to edit the windows registry

TO remove the recent document

Open registry editor by typing regedit in run dialog box ,

Now navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft
\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer


Right click on right pane and select new DWORD entry , name it NoRecentDocsMenu
And put 1 as value to enable it

Restart the system and document menu is gone

In similar way u can also remove Network Connections from the Start Menu

For that create a entry and name it NoNetworkConnections


TO remove the run from start menu

create a new entry and name it NoRun and enter 1 as value
